What exactly does the new DBL 1224 contain?

The DBL 1224 outlines the specifications for synthetic thermoplastic materials utilized in various applications within the vehicle interior. These materials undergo the injection-molding process to create intricately molded parts.

  • DBL 5404
    Parts Manufactured from Thermoplastics for the Direct and Indirect Areas of the Passenger Compartment, for Passenger Compartment Heating and Ventilation, Paneling and Housings

  • DBL 5410
    Parts of Thermostatic Synthetic Materials for Operating Controls, Bearing and Fastening Elements, and Spacers

  • DBL 5490
    Plastic Components Manufactured from Recycled Materials (however only product versions for the vehicle interior; product versions for the vehicle exterior are described in DBL 1232)
