As part of the regional industry events of the VILF paint and coatings association, a digital meeting of the Rhine-Main group will take place on 17 November. In his presentation, Malte Wienrich, Head of Testing & Validation at imat-uve Heimsheim, will address the question of how the quality of painted surfaces can be measured.
To evaluate the quality of coated, especially painted surfaces in the automotive industry, various test methods are used, both in internal quality assurance and in the incoming inspection (or sampling) of purchased parts. The lecture gives an insight into laboratory test methods for the evaluation of coated surfaces using the example of methods that are prescribed in sampling processes of German car manufacturers.
The lecture is open to all interested parties.
