imat has successfully participated in this year's VW round robin test for the specification PV 3942 (emission behavior vehicle interior). This means that our branches in Stuttgart and Shanghai remain on the list of the few approved laboratories from Volkswagen for this special test method.
With the help of the chamber emission test, parts and components of the vehicle interior are examined with regard to VOC emissions and odor. This test is increasingly relevant for the analysis of air quality in cars (VIAQ).
