Successful trade fair opening for imat-uve at Techtextil 2017

imat-uve stands for design and development services as well as for the testing of materials and components. At Techtextil, the company is exhibiting various projects from both areas, which are equally well received by visitors to the fair. The innovations for Martindale and Mace Snag devices attracted attention from quality managers and textile engineers. The High Precision Sample Holder for Martindale and the High Precision Hook Pad for the Velcro test were acknowledged by the experts. Within the scope of the VDA Working Group Textiles, imat-uve had already received the support from the automotive industry on Monday to integrate the optimizations into the test specifications.

To present development and design services imat-uve categorized material innovations, smart textiles and unusual materials into the two trends "sustainability" and "lighting". The selection comes from the material library, the basis for work and as well a source of inspiration for designers and developers. Collaborations with Qmilk and Trevira in the development of textile surfaces made of casein fibers and phosphorescent yarn are also included in the trend topics and attract many interested visitors. Thus the performance on the Techtextil for imat-uve is a successful start for further R & D projects.
