How to reduce material odor – Expert lecture
The annual conference of EUROPUR and EURO-MOULDERS will take place on 12 and 13 June in Lisbon, Portugal. EUROPUR and EURO-MOULDERS are the European associations of manufacturers of polyurethane mouldings for the automotive industry and polyurethane flexible foam blocks.
The main topics this time are circular economy and recycling. The first day will be devoted to general market topics such as recycling PU foams and the end of the life cycle of mattresses and furniture. Discussions about sustainability and the future orientation of the industry round off the program.
On the second day of the conference, the focus will be on technical topics. imat-uve’s expert for odors and emissions in vehicle interiors, Michael Holzwarth, will give his lecture "What you should know before you try to reduce material odors" on 13 June at 9:00 a.m. as part of the lecture session on odors and VOCs. Other topics include flame retardants, additives and surfactants, product stewardship / EHS and regulatory affairs in Europe and the USA.
